Huitt-Zollars provided design, survey, and construction management services for the developer of the Cabezon community as well as individual builders. This 900-acre planned community offers amenities that provide an exceptional living experience. In addition to providing the infrastructure design to support the project, Huitt-Zollars removed approximately one mile of floodplain to open areas to development. The floodplain was routed to a new lined channel around the property and remapped with FEMA. This project was originally planned to be a seven-year build out, but due to the high demand in the community, project designs were completed in three years.
