Phoenix Sky Harbor West Taxiway C Reconstruction

Huitt-Zollars provided engineering design services for the reconstruction of 4,100-linear-foot of taxiway and associated improvements. Three 150-linear-foot-wide connector taxiways provide increased width to serve the new larger aircraft at the site. Approximately 88,000 SY of existing pavement was replaced with a total pavement thickness of 52 inches. Work also included the construction of two asphalt concrete aircraft parking aprons, totaling approximately 40,000 SY. Storm drainage improvements incorporated approximately 3,775 linear feet of storm drain pipe in sizes up to 72-inch pipe, inlets, manholes and catch basins.
