Huitt-Zollars is pleased to welcome Brad Coleman, P.E., MBA, as an Associate and Senior Project Manager in our National Capital Region office. In this role, Brad will focus on client management and project execution for our federal market sector. With a distinguished background as a recently transitioned Navy Civil Engineer Corps Commander, Brad contributes over 20 years of expertise in facilities design and construction, particularly focused on federal facilities. His wealth of experience enhances our commitment to delivering excellence in project management and engineering services.
Brad's accomplishments include spearheading a 15-year cabin modernization program for Camp David and leading a design and construction team that doubled contract awards from $44M to $105M in one year, improving operational and training facilities for the USMC in Okinawa, Japan. Additionally, he successfully merged regional USMC and Navy offices, resulting in the early delivery of a $205M design and construction program. As a warranted contracting officer, Brad personally awarded $15M in contracts during extended gaps in supervisory contract specialists and delivered six renovation and A/E contracts in support of Marine housing and naval reserve center renovations ensuring continuity in project execution.
Brad earned his Master of Business Administration with Federal Finance specialization from the Naval Postgraduates School and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah. He is a registered Civil Geotechnical Engineer in the state of Utah and is a Level III Warranted Contracting Officer. Brad is an active participant in the Defense Acquisition Corps.
