We are pleased to announce Herson Go, PE recently joined Huitt-Zollars as an Associate in our Irvine office. In this role, Herson will contribute his extensive experience and expertise in civil engineering design and project management to our public works practice in California.
Herson comes to Huitt-Zollars with over three decades of experience delivering civil engineering design projects with a focus on drainage/hydrology/hydraulics and stormwater quality management. He has played a key role in developing business and managing several transportation, public works, site development, and drainage projects demonstrating exceptional leadership, technical skills, and a commitment to excellence. Herson's portfolio includes work on projects such as the Inglewood Transit Connector, a 1.6-mile, 3-station, fully elevated automated people mover; a waterline replacement project for the City of Huntington Beach; and several Caltrans projects including an express lane project along 14.6 miles of I-15, I-605 and Valley Boulevard interchange improvements, and a pavement rehabilitation design-build project along 14.7 miles of I-10.
Herson’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology and graduate studies in Environmental and Water Resources from Howard University. He is a registered Civil Engineer and a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD/P) in the state of California.
