We are excited to introduce Elaine Jin, PE, as a new Vice President in our transportation practice in Dallas. In this role, Elaine will spearhead efforts in business development and client relations for the transportation sector.
Elaine brings over 24 years of experience in the transportation industry with a strong focus on project delivery and team management. Having previously served as a Structural Engineer at Huitt-Zollars, she is well-versed in project management skills with a proven track record of delivering successful projects for TxDOT, DFW Airport, DART, Houston METRO, NTTA, and HCTRA as well as various municipalities and private developers. Elaine most recently served as the Texas Structure Technical Excellence Center (TEC) Lead and Vice President for an ENR Top 10 firm where she managed a staff of 30 in three locations, collaborated with the leadership team to identify growth opportunities, and led business development initiatives across multiple disciplines and market sectors. Her extensive technical and management experience consistently demonstrates her ability to deliver challenging projects by developing and mentoring project teams.
Elaine has been featured in publications and presentations including “Trapezoidal Steel Box Girder Design for Spur 366 Extension Project” in the ASCE Structure Congress 2009, and her most recent presentation at ASCE Texas CECON 2022, “Dallas Southern Gateway Project Bridge Overview”. Elaine received her Bachelor of Science in Bridge Engineering from Tongji University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida State University. She is a licensed professional engineering in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida. Elaine served as President for the North Texas Chinese Engineers and Architect Association and is a past Membership Chair for the Texas Society of Professional Engineers Dallas Chapter.
