Jarvis Road Reconstruction

Huitt-Zollars prepared the drainage study for the confluence of Cypress Creek and Dry Gully and preliminary and final design of plans, specifications, and estimates for this roadway improvement project. The project consisted of the expansion and reconstruction of approximately 4,400 feet of a two-lane asphalt roadway to a 4-lane concrete boulevard section with raised curbed median and roadside ditches. The scope of work included environmental investigations, schematic design, roadway design, bridge layout and design, steel sheet pile control structure layout and design, traffic engineering, traffic control planning, signing, pavement markings, signage, pavement markings, cost estimating, drainage, utility coordination, and storm water pollution prevention plan. Huitt-Zollars also prepared the Conditional Letter of Map Revision and Letter of Map Revision for submission to FEMA.
