METRO Bus Rapid Transit Stations

Huitt-Zollars provided architectural, civil engineering, structural engineering, electrical engineering design and surveying services for signature bus service along Bellaire Boulevard. Huitt-Zollars also prepared the conceptual design and final construction documents for the project. Collaborating with Houston METRO’s staff, the scope of work included the conceptual and final design of 14 signature bus shelters, porcelain tile pavers, logo, banners, lighting, lane markings, selective demolition, and signage for METRO’s “Quickline” Bus Rapid Transit service. Bellaire Boulevard is a significant six-mile corridor for the City.
