Arborlawn Drive

Conceptual and final roadway layout and drainage design was provided for one mile of a four-lane, divided thoroughfare that interfaces with Chisholm Trail Parkway (SH 121), Bryant Irvin Road, and International Plaza. Horizontal alignment was designed to be sensitive to the preservation of historic landmarks. Vertical alignment was designed to be compatible with existing terrain in order to minimize excavation and grading. This included super-elevated sections through curves for smooth and safe motorist transitions. Coordination with franchise and municipal utilities, the North Texas Tollway Authority, and the Edwards-Geren Ranch consultant was included throughout the project. Final plans, construction estimates, and specifications were required for contract bidding.
