Huitt-Zollars announces the addition of Chris Whitney, AIA, as Vice President, in our Orlando Office. In this capacity Whitney will lead our Higher Education and Institutional Practice in the Southeast market.
Whitney brings a long list of university experience with him spanning from The Ohio State to the University of Central Florida. His specialty is planning and programming large facilities including his most recent 600,000 GSF medical school master plan for the Uniform Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. With a “student focus” approach he has brought his national research project to include faculty research at Florida Poly Tech and many future regional institutions of higher learning. On the institutional side he brings experience on a local Museum and a New Civic Centers in central Florida.

Whitney is actively involved in community service including serving on local foundation boards, a Richard UpJohn Fellow in the AIA, as well as serving over 20 years in Rotary International, recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.
