Wendy Amann has been promoted to Vice President and Office Manager of Huitt-Zollars' Denver office. She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, expanding business by developing existing and new client relationships, building the staff of the office, and participating in the local professional community.
Wendy began her career with Huitt-Zollars as a structural engineer in the Denver office in 2010. Since then she has served as a project manager on numerous projects for developers, special districts, municipalities, and private clients. Those projects include the new Public Works Maintenance Facility for the City of Louisville and the Pedestrian Bridge Replacement project for the University of Colorado at Boulder.
In addition to this vast project experience, Wendy is actively engaged with the professional community. She is involved in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Denver Metro Post, the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (NCEES), and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado (ACEC Colorado). Most recently she was appointed by the Governor to the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects, Professional Engineers, and Land Surveyors.
